Ignition Key Fob stuck

Hi ALL, I had posted an issue with the key fob being stuck and the all of the sudden last Monday I took her out for a short drive and when I parked her and tuned off the key released. I do not know what it was but apparently it appears to be an intermittent issue and seems to be electronic. I will post a photo next time but if anyone has had that issue I would appreciate some feedback. Thank you and enjoy those SL600. W164 ML320 DEF leak - should it be covered under extended warranty from Bluetec settlement field measures?

I've usually had to refill the adblue/DEF a couple of times a year, but have had to do it 4 times since getting the field measures done in May... while recently towing our camper home, I had to refill after just 800kms (over two days), and had the CEL come on and the car now goes into limp mode with any serious load, which means towing our camper home I had to go about 90km/h and often still had to pull over, stop and restart the car when encountering any sizable hill. Front wheel bearing replacement question

I doing my front right wheel bearing. can someone clarfy for me In side the wheel hub there is a female splined place in the middle of currently installed bearing. it what slides on axle splines. the replacement bearing is smooth in the center, does this spline center get reinstalled in the new bearing??

Camshaft timing problem PO1200 and 1208

I had both these codes stored in memory. The check engine light is coming on and off. Sometimes it goes away for a few days, but will then come on and go off, sometimes in the same day. I read the cam timing sensors with a scanner when the light was off and this is what I am seeing out of the ECU. at idle at 2500 rpm exhaust left -19.95 deg 3.46 deg exhaust right -19.98 deg 3.40 deg intake left +36.27 deg +32.7... Camshaft timing problem PO1200 and 1208

I don't do my own work anymore and by my projections it's looking like a bill I don't want to foot anymore. I've moved on to other vehicles as well and this has really fallen by the wayside. My 93 300 SE was at the dealer today and I was told that the transmission outflow shaft seal ($460) and the differential pinion and side seal ($1200) were oozing small fliud and that I was not urgent but somehing that needed looking into. What are your thoughts on the subject? Is that pricey? Can I get a better deal elsewhere in chicago?

Greetings All From Houston, TX: I am the original owner of a 2007 C230 with only 54500 miles. It intermittently fails to crank or stalls, with no codes. I do have dash lights and no issues with locking. Both keys seem to be okay. My wife is afraid to drive her car. I have seen videos where a soldered connector on the switch has broken, causing this problem. Should I have my repair shop physically remove the switch and inspect the switch? Hi, I have W450, 600ccm, gasoline, 40 kW, year 2000 and I have made a diagnostic with my SDS on Dell630 laptop today. The reason for a diagnostic is because I cannot see ambient temperature on the display. In addition AC is not working, the switch shows two red lights, however refrigerant temperature does not drop. 2023 GLC Auto Lock Issues

Hi guys, I'm new to the GLC and MB in general. I have auto lock feature turned on in the console but it doesn't seem to work well. I'm used to the Acura MDX auto locks and folds the mirrors when I walk away from it. The GLC doesn't seem to do that. It may locks the door silently but the mirrors do not fold unless I manually lock it with the key fob. I just picked it up 2 days ago so I don't have much time with it yet. Is this normal? The interior of my car is in super good shape annd the only neagtive is my roll bar. The vinyl covering has dried and cracked and is flakinng near one of the upper corner. I searched the web for a new cover but couldn't find any. So I contacted Vic at Convertible Tops, Headliners, Convertible Top Parts, and OEM Seat Covers with who I've been doing business in the past for my Ferraris and allways been very happy with his work. Removing ABC oscillation damper from atop the ABC pump on 2001 W220 S600

Contrary to all the factory parts diagrams I have seen. My damper (4" long, 2" diameter cylinder) sits ON TOP of the front of the ABC pump AND all the tubing and Banjo fitting to the pump is WELDED to the cylinder AND the tubing connects in an unknown spot down somewhere between the engine and the fender firewall. I have C3 multiplexer and DAS/Xentry, need an advice to analyze engine management

So finally I have what I need to run DAS on Dell630. It works. I want to check if engine runs ok. The reason to do it is high CO in exhaust gasses. It is not drastically high, if i recall correctly it is ca 0,6 instead of 0,3% at 2500rev/min. Something like that. It means that officially I cannot pass MOT . So what can I do? I need some guidance what to check and the logic behind it. The car is maintained, everything what a normal person can do is done. Things are new or replaced... Hello - I tried to research BUT when you used words like Steering, Wheel and vibrations - you get everything but what you're looking for. The vibration no longer occurs when i wander out of my lane. I think it's handy to have with a young driver in the house. My trouble shooting consists of, on an empty road, let the car drift. Not vibrating. Is there a fuse, relay that I should be looking for or do these motors just fail over time? Can they be replaced as a DIY or is the calibrations... E350 2015 - Loss of vibration in lane assist

Hello. I am wondering if its possible to bypass the sam module from the combination switch. My sam module has been damaged and they quoted more then 2x the price of the car. To get it legal i need high and low beams, i have connected the relays but i have the problem of wanting the orginal combination switch. I cluld just get a normal 3way switch but i would rather try to have it orginal. If anyone knows how to do this it would be very exiting. 1987 MBZ W124 Automatic Transmission Problem

When driving my car and shifting gears was a bigger jolt. After this when shifting from Park to Drive there was resistance, and I had to push harder to get into Drive. ( this only happened once) Now when driving car it acts like it goes to neutral and RPMS go higher. I can shift to 3rd gear and get car transmission to re-engage. It has been 21,000 miles since transmission was removed, re-seal, replace as needed, clean and inspect internal parts for wear. Rt front door lock part # needed please

Greetings. I have the hardest time with EPC finding parts. Can someone let me know what the part number is for the front passenger door electronic door lock mechanism is that either opens/closes all the locks in the car? My passenger door lock mech no longer works even though the driver side mech still opens/closes all doors and yes, I do not have the mech locked down on the driver's side. 2009 ML 350 4matic with VIN 4JGBB86E59A491091. Hoping someone may have some tips for me on aftermarket LED headlight bulbs (H4) for the gen 1 Euro housing. I drive out into the middle of nowhere regularly so I'm looking for something with low beams that don't blind other drivers but brights that are truly eyeball melting. I cheaped out and purchased these. The low beams are pretty kickass but the high beams are totally worthless. AUXITO H4 9003 LED Headlight... Headlight suggestions

So my it seems after riding in my slk55, my friend caught the bug and picked up an sl63. Well, he decided to attempt checking his ABC fluid, and didn't tighten the cap all the way. In the 1-2 miles he drove, a good bit of fluid has liberated itself. Normally staying withing the slk realm, I've no sense of this stuff. Is there any danger of paint damage or fire? Many thanks for any insight.

GLK250 refresh questions 118k miles

I come from the BMW world, where I know a lot about BMW's and their "isms". The MB not so much. Our 2013 GLK250 has been great. The few times I've worked on it, love how well put together it is. Unfortunately we are between houses, it is time for some work, so I need someone to do that for me. A few questions. P216f - Coolant system. I'm assuming this gets a new pump and thermostat. I have read several places that MBUX and connect to myQ to allow voice control of garage door open/close and status. But I can't find any instrutions on how to do this. TheM MyQ site has instructions for some cars, but not MB. Is there a way to do this in my 2023 S580? Thanx!

“Display Defective” fuse?

Hi everyone, I changed some bulbs over the LCD in a pre facelift gague cluster. Now I get "display defective." The connectors look OK though. The tach and speedo don't respond and pressing R shows a temp of -36 before it shows the error again. Have I blown a fuse somewhere? The sticky dose at mention this? Thanks.

Like new Bosch Accumulator part no:0438170055 just purchased on 8/21 from FCP Euro for $203.99 for my 560SL. I thought my car had a bad fuel accumulator, but it ended up being a bad fuel pump relay. i have a 2004 ml350 special edition, i have had it for 3 years i absolutely love my car. i recently ran into some issues with starting the car with the key i have replaced the electronic ignition switch recently and it was working fine. my starter then needed to be replaced so i replaced that and now i cant get the car to start with the key. i jumped the starter a few times and also noticed that i can not shift the car from drive to park at all. unless i turn the car off. im not sure if the... They ride great, however, I'd love to be able to adjust the height on the strut as I'm getting some rubbing issues on the front Lorinser wheels that I have on the car. Now don't get me wrong, I know that the amount of poke I'm getting (about 3/4 of an inch out from the fender) isn't stock, but I love the look of it so I want to keep this aesthetic while also being able to drive the car without rubbing. 560 SEC stalling

My '89 560SEC (116K) started to stall, randomly. Took it to a Mercedes shop (not dealer) and they replaced the gas chip (??) at a cost of over $900. Now it's not stalling but if I attempt to restart it after 30 minutes to 2-3 hours after a drive I have a hard time to drive it from the parked position. Upon restart car starts running rough, then stalls when I put it in drive mode and step on gas. Mechanic said to use non-ethanol gas. This is my 4th tank (at $5.30/gallon!) and it still... 560 SEC stalling

Horn not working

Horn stopped working. Fuse is fine. I checked the location of the relay, but there is no relay in the spot for a horn relay. We've had the suv for a year and 23k miles. Horn did work. Is there no relay on these models?

Limp Mode

I replaced the transmission conductor plate on my '01 ML320, but it still goes into "limp mode" every so often. Any idea what causes it to still go into "limp mode"?

Mijn 500SLslaat niet aan als we een beetje benzine in de luchtklep doen loopt hij heel even. heb de benzine leidingen losgehaald en even op contact gezet maar er komt bijna geen benzine uit Benzine filter achter vervangen zonder resultaat Pomp loopt wel eventjes. iemand een idee wat het kan zijn.

I just purchased a 1999 SL500R with 50k on it. The car is in great shape. I have read the owners manual and researched for hours and cannot find what this switch is or does. Can anyone tell what this is? It is a dual selector knob. Howdy, New MB owner, trying to do some of my own work. Accidentally disconnected the 15 pin cluster at the back of the dash (separated wires from pins) instead of just unplugging it. Been looking all over but cant find a diagram showing which wires go to which pins. Anyone have any info on this (color coded diagram)? Any help would be great. Thanks! Christian

560SL hood alignment

I have a small problem with the passenger side of the hood sits a little higher than the drivers side. You can see the gap on the passenger side. The hood has never been off the car. I did replace the hinges but it made no difference. How can I adjust this?

I swapped the rims and wheels of my c300 with the rims and wheels of a 2008 E350, now the TCPM can not detect the rims, what should I do? Do I need to swap all the 4 sensors inside the wheels or can it be programmed and if so, where?

W205 C200 Wired AC problem

My car's AC just acts wired on AUTO setting. When the outside temp is 30 degrees Celsius, if i set the climate control to 24 Celsius it work for a while and just on and off while driving. This makes the people inside cabin sweat and need to lower another 2 degrees to start cooling again. After few more minutes, it again starts to cool lower and makes the cabin hot. Finally if I put it 20 or 18 degrees Celsius it works normally. The compressor works and blows the ice cold air when it works... W205 C200 Wired AC problem

6 CD changer not working

I recently bought a 2007 B-200 which is equipped with 6 loader CD changers, and I noticed that it is not working. I checked the fuse that powers the CD Changer and there was no fuse, I then installed the required fuse amperage (7.5A) still the CD changer did not work. Please who have a similar problem that were able to resolve, should share more light.

Android Auto change really ruined setting up on Benz.

I have a 18' CClass and when I had the Android Auto app I was able to use it via USB to my screen. Ever since Google incorporated it into the device I can no longer get it to appear on my screen. Its very disappointing as the feature is now useless. I removed the phone from my benz, readded it back. The issue is connecting it with either USB port it won't pick it up. I even checked usb setting on phone and unable to use the usb setting for auto.
