2011 ML 350 here, this car is new to me. Today I had a large number of things to transport in the trunk, so I wanted to lower my rear seats. The passenger side worked fine, I pulled on the strap to pull the seat cushion forward, pulled the lever up on the backrest and the seat folded down perfectly. Went the driver's side and pulled up the cushion, but then went I went to pull the lever to lower the backrest, it only comes forward about 2 or 3 inches; seems to be catching on...
