Things are going well with the revival of the 84 500SEL. I am currently in the fuel system and I am looking for the torque value for the installation of the fuel strainer on the bottom of the tank (A 201 470 05 06). The fuel strainer base looks to be made of high-grade aluminum and is likely soft, so striping the threads might be easy.
