I am having a problem with my stock alarm system in which it goes off randomly (even after starting the car), and when I lock the doors with the remote, the lights will flash and alarm will sound occasionally. Now I know there must be a short somewhere, which is going to be fun to diagnose. And I'm not taking it to the stealership just to shell out $200 so they can plug the computer in and tell me what's triggering the alarm.
