I am in the process of refurbishing the Valve body on my 1995 (manufacturing year) s320 vin# WDBGA33E2TA290369
The valve body is disassembled and layed out.
There is sludge but not too bad considering 180'000 miles. (nothing gold colored)..
The pistons and valves are in ok condition with exception of the Aluminum made Governor Pressure Shift Valve and the Lock up Clutch Shift Valve. The surface on those 2 is a bit worn.
The problem is a failure to shift. The clutch...
