E500-C207 and E500-W207, what is the difference?

I recently purchased an; E500 - C207, 2009 model. I came across the same car but called; E500 - W207, I thought the deference may be due to the year of manufacturing, but I have seen another E500 from the same manufacturing year and it was a W207, so I am confused with these numbers. Does anyone know what the difference is between the C207 and the W207 in the E class 2009 model?? Would much appreciate any knowledge….
