R171 AUDIO 2.0 LCD DISPLAY VERY LOW BY DAY

Hi there, I want to know more about how LCD display on AUDIO 2.0 work... I want to keep original part on my SLK. -is it the screen itself who need to be replace? -is there a light bulb to te replace? -is it possible that the light sensor is involve? I look a lot on google to learn more about it but can't find the technical info... can anybody help me?
