I need to reset my airbag module in my 2015 328i sedan. There are a few companies that can do it if you send the module to them. Myairbag.com and safetyrestore are two that I am familiar with. Price is around $50. You have to remove the center console and ship the module out and wait for it to be reprogrammed and then sent back. Meanwhile the vehicle is generally out of commission for a several days, and more likely a week.
Does anyone know if the carly or bimmercode, or other tool, can reset the airbag module. The price is about the same, and you get the other benefits of having carly or bimmercode, you don't have to dismantle the car and you don't have to ship it out and wait for it to come back.
