Long story short while replacing the water pump I missed a bolt and tore a chunk out of the front timing cover after beating myself up for a week. I figured out that I could order a new timing cover, however, is this repairable and/or replaceable while the motor is still in the GLK or am I basically looking at a engine removal and might as well do the balance shaft while I'm in there?
