Help with oil level

2004 W209 with a 112.955 engine (320). WIS calls for 8.0 LITERS of oil with a filter change. I added 8.5 QUARTS of oil. Now, when I turn the car on one click, hit the reset button 3 times, turn to the 2nd click, then the up arrow once, I show an oil level of 8.1 quarts. This is after sitting all night in the garage. When I check it with the dipstick, it comes to the 160 mm level. That indicates it's still low according to the specs I read in WIS. Can anyone shed some light on just... Help with oil level
