I have a 2000 E320 4matic wagon since new (160K mi) -- great vehicle! But I have had ABS/BAS/ESP lights on the dash for a year. Vehicle has been drivable with those systems disabled.
However a few weeks ago I noticed the transmission slipping slightly one day, a check engine light came on, then a few days later the vehicle went into limp mode.
Mechanic #1 thought it was low transmission fluid, topped it off and returned it. E320 was still in limp mode. I returned it and asked him to clear...
