1982 380SL

I have an opportunity to buy a 1982 380 SL with 67,000 miles on it. The car has not been running in 3 years and the interior is a complete mess. The seats are ripped apart and were soaked with water along with the carpeting . The body is all original along with the rims. Right now i can get it for $2,000.00 and i think there is room for a further reduction. Should i buy the car? I ran the VIN and the mileage is legit.
