W140 S320 5 speed shifter light issue

Hi all, I hope someone can reply to my question below. I own a 1995 W140 S320 long for some years. The car is in excellent condition, very well maintained over the years by two shops of which one is an official Mercedes repair shop. Condition is close to mint. In fact, last year it was used for a 6 page article in a Youngtimer magazine and photographed in front of the MB museum in Stuttgart Germany. Happy owner here and it's my daily driver for many years already. Never had serious issues... W140 S320 5 speed shifter light issue
