I have a deteriorating plastic cover on the horn/airbag portion of steering wheel.. There are worsening cracks in the score lines of the cover.. I tried to use a black rubber caulk to seal them but it is ineffective. I can see that this cover is part of the actual airbag capsule, so I assume that entire airbag capsule will need to be changed... I have doubts about the functionality of a 38 year old airbag, but would still like to find way to replace and repair steering wheel to good OEM...
