I have a 1987 300TDT with the OM603 engine. The diesel fuel thermostat has a small leak, which I'd rather fix instead of replacing the whole thing, which seems like a waste of money.
Do I need to buy only an O-ring or gasket? Are there instructions/DIY for how to do the repair? Any idea what Mercedes part number I need for a new O-ring (or whatever I need to replace to stop the leak?).
