I'm looking for help. On my 85 380, I've completely rebuilt the entire steering system, including all linkage, steering shock, rebuilt steering box, etc. Significant improvement was made but I still have about 1" of side to side play in my steering wheel, sitting still or driving.
yesterday we adjusted the steering box one last time and it definitely "tightened" the feel or response but did nothing to reduce the slop or play in the wheel.
