w211 2003 e320 hood trim replacement and removal question?....

I wanted to repaint my code 040 jet black hood to me 2003 e320, but I don't want to damage the trim, how do you remove i, can't find any YouTube tutorials on it so far! I think the windshield wiper sprayer notches are attached and don't want to get those disconnected? thanks guys!
