When my W124 300CE was imported into South Africa there was no unleaded fuel available therefore no catalytic converter or sensor was fitted. Now it is available and I would like to fit an after market system. The car was manufactured at Sindelfingen on 20 September 1989.
Can anyone tell me if the ECU is compatable with a catalytic converter and would be able to sense such a unit and where I can obtain a sensor?
BTW it is fitted with a Bosch KE-Jetronic system.
