1977 W123 240D automatic transmission

We recently prevented a 1977 240D in really great condition from going to to the junk yard and are in the process of "refurbishing" it. As part of the work we also changed the automatic transmission fluid. We drained the transmission as well as torque converter and installed a new filter and gasket. The total amount of ATF drained was 3.5 Liters and we therefore initially refilled it with 3.5 Liters new ATF.
