tire pressure monitor display on my 2010 C300 4MATIC

I am having a problem with my TPMS display info, so it seems. After driving for a few minutes, the only info from the TPMS displayed is "tire pressure monitor active". I cannot get the tire pressure numbers at all. This is the first time this has ever happened. I have already tried to reset to the current pressure and the message on the display won't change.
