I can no longer engage or release the electric parking brake. It tries, making a tremendous noise, but nothing happens when I push or pull the small handle. The brake is fully released so I can drive the car alright, but the electronics seem to believe that it is engaged and the red warning light on the dashboard is flashing. Hence, the Distronic has stopped working which is a nuisance.
