about the W210 E-class

I'm new to Mercedes and also cars in general. This year in march I have bought my first car ever - a 2000 E270 (facelift model), and i have a few questions about the car. What are the most common issues with the W210 and how cheap/expensive are they to fix? What is service A, how much it costs and is it necessary to keep track of it? (Currently says that service A is exceeded by over 500 days) I have considered to raise the suspension for better ground clearance, because... about the W210 E-class
