I just bought an X5M F85. I used to have a E70 X5M, loved that beast but the seals went so it had to go. Anyway what I have come back here to ask is does anyone know how a F85 model is classed? Im in Australia, I bought a MAY 15 built F85 but it appears it probably hit the shores in the last quarter and it's first service was late December. How do I see a compliance date? It was sold to me as a MY16. Is this true or is it an MY15 due to build date? Does anyone know the build dates for MY#s? It doesn't make a big diff to me but I just don't like being tricked if it is definitely a MY15.
Also are all services on this thing electronic now, ie no more stamps? I did not get a stamped service book and they told me they no longer exist.
It was a reputable dealer so if necessary I'll have a discussion with them on Tuesday but would appreciate any ammo.
