Headlight lens replacements - Whole assembly required?

A friend used a buffer on my headlights and accidentally scratched/gouged the glass on both the main DS headlight lens and the PS high beam lens. Is it necessary to replace the whole assembly on both sides, or is it possible to replace just the lenses? And if the whole assembly is needed, would this be a good replacement...
