Is it safe to drive when the dipstick shows the engine oil level above its red fins? After a mechanic changes the oil in my 2002 E320 4Matic wagon, that's how high the oil level is. I'll siphon out 16 oz of oil (through the dipstick tube) and the dipstick will still show oil above the fins. Must I siphon out more to drop the dipstick level to "max"? Thanks.
