Engine turns over but does not start

I have a 2003 SLK 320. Today I reversed it out of the garage after having to charge the battery. When I returned to the car it would not start. The engine cranks over as you would expect but sadly the car does not start. It does try to start in that the engine will runs for a few beats but then returns to the engine turning over. I have disconnected the battery in an attempt to reset the electronics however without success. There is a star terror code of -730 in the small window.I do not...
