I've got a lot of water leaking into both passenger and driver's side footwell. Here's what I've done so far.
- removed both front seats and stripped carpet out. Lots of water and the foam on the back was completely sodden.
- stripped windscreen scuttle and cleaned underneath put back together again taking care that all seals are installed back as they should
- cleaned drain gutters on both side of the bonnet hinges
- hosed water down windscreen and water is draining away from gutters
- checked inside the car and still water leaking on both sides. Coming from the front pillar and seems to be weeping through grommets on the bodywork. The sponge padding is completely sodden with water as well. Photo circles the grommets that are weeping as well as the sponge padding.
Stumped with this now and I don't have a scooby how the water is getting in. Does anyone have any ideas on how to sort this out?
