Hi, the horn on my ´86 560 SL sounds great when cold or at highway speeds. However, If I get into city traffic with the air conditioner on, I noticed that one of the horns (low pitch) stops working and if enough heat builds up in the engine compartment, the high pitch horn also stops working. As soon as the engine cools down, both horns work fine. My guess is that age has taken a toll on both horns and malfunction at high temperatures and should be replaced. Has anyone encountered the same...
