Finally Fixing the "Light Malfunction" Errors

Well I finally took the brute force approach to solving the Light Malfunction Annunciator/Pest. I was having limited success cleaning the contacts on the light bulbs, the holders and even the contact surface on the conductor plate. I determined that it was the stoplights that were the main offender. I suspect the contacts couldn't take the current or had high resistance, so I decided to create some jumpers to augment the circuit. I haven't had the Annunciator complain for 2 months now --... OM642 leaking oil from turbo into exhaust.

Hi guys! This is about OM642 in a W251 leaking oil from turbo into exhaust. I recently bought a 2007 Mercedes R-Class 320 CDI. Seller told me it sometimes smells exhaust in the cabin which it did. The reason I think is because the oil cap leaked, and oil went down to exhaust manifold. OR its related to my next problem. The car has been very little used the last one and a half year. It has new PCV valve/tube (replaced by former owner related to fumes in cabin). Shortly after I start to use... OM642 leaking oil from turbo into exhaust.

Parking brake cable and shoe change

My '86 has three things that don't work, as far as I know: AC compressor belt removed, so maybe shot compressor; aftermarket stereo with CD changer in the trunk doesn't play; and the parking/emergency brakes pedal goes to the floor without resistance. So I've found that the OE brake cable on the right side is not attached; the swaged end has popped out of the slot in the brake equalizer arm. The cable isn't broken, but is so gummed-up that it moves stiffly, which is probably why it came... Parking brake cable and shoe change

Back up camera or rear dash cam wiring

Anyone has experience install a back up camera or a dash cam with a rear lens mounted on license plate? Is there a way to connect the the wires came with the camera through the floor into the trunk? Mine is a convertible.
