Parking brake cable and shoe change

My '86 has three things that don't work, as far as I know: AC compressor belt removed, so maybe shot compressor; aftermarket stereo with CD changer in the trunk doesn't play; and the parking/emergency brakes pedal goes to the floor without resistance. So I've found that the OE brake cable on the right side is not attached; the swaged end has popped out of the slot in the brake equalizer arm. The cable isn't broken, but is so gummed-up that it moves stiffly, which is probably why it came... Parking brake cable and shoe change
