W126 electric seat

I'm trying to remove the electric motor assemblies from a seat. They are out, but to get to the front 2 screws, I need to move the seat back. Is there a mechanical override that I don't know of, or do I have to power up the motors ? If so what wires do what motors ? And does it have to be 12 volts? A precise procedure is appreciated.
