Which one is better maintenance in Australia? W163 petrol or diesel?

Hello guys, I'm from Indonesia and I'm Planning to move to Australia. I'm interested to own W163 ML 350 or ML 320, But I've seen in marketplace that so many ML 270 CDI models, is it difficult to own a diesel merc in australia? because I never own a diesel merc before. and, for the maintenance, are there many merc specialist workshop in australia?
