Engine photo thoughts. Planning to look at '93 300SE

Hi, I'm planning to look at a '93 300SE. Its a California car that drove cross country to NY about 10 years ago. There are some unusual issues that might mean something, or not be as big a deal as I'm concerned about. Its dirty from being outside this past mild winter, but I don't know about other years. The interior looks less cracked, even the drivers seat, than I usually see. I just got a pic of the engine, and its a bit oily with some odd rusty areas, though there was no body rust in...
