Rear Lift Gate won't close

So I am having an issue with my rear lift gate. It will open for most part ok, either fully or pretty close. But it won't go down at all. I can hear motor running, but nothing. I read on other forums that the auto lift gates and trunks for other Mercedes cars are pneumatic based, but I think this one is more hydraulic based. So I plan to open it up and look at the parts for leaks. But I am thinking I need a new motor unless there is a major leak in the system, but I figured I would... Rear Lift Gate won't close
