My question is. What happens to the engine if car is driven with oil filter housing broken. My engine stopped working and the scanner shows codes for the camshaft sensor and also an advanced valve train. But I'm told the only way to really find out what's wrong with my car is to open the valve cover to inspect and asses. Then I find out the the oil filter housing is broken, could this be the reason why the scanner is showing those codes?
