SRS light

'95 S500 with 96K. Every time I start the car and drive off, the SRS light comes on, then goes off anywhere from 1 minute to 2 minutes afterwards; it ALWAYS does that, although if I "jiggle" the seat belt connection a lot, it will sometimes go off in several seconds. What do I need to do? James
