I'm in the process of rebuilding(resealing the engine, it was rebuilt in 1985 )but only has app 4000 km on it. I have been searching for the block to oil pan gasket(there was none there when I took it apart)which I can't find, so my question is was there ever a gasket ? or just a sealant used.
