Weird problem... no instruments / accessories car running

Hi been having this problem for about a year. Sometimes the car will start and run normally but accessories are dead. No speedometer, no rpms, no turn signals, no a/c, etc. If I restart the car accessories come back on. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the key fob or the ignition switch?!?! Why because sometimes I insert the key fob and I am unable to turn it (and no. it's not the steering wheel locking). I have to then reinsert the fob for it to "register" with the car. Also...
