Little flaps - another solution

We all know that sooner or later the li'l flaps (covering the hole where the c-style 'bone' stands with the roof up) fail and snap off. I decided not to wait for trouble and take stuff apart. Sure enough cracks had indeed emerged in the flaps' hinges. Rubber bands, furniture hinges, there's numerous solutions to be found in- and outside the forums.
