Hi everyone. i am new to the group and hope i can get some help in figuring out what the issue is with my car.
I have a 1999 R129 Sl500 with 173k miles. I recently purchased it from the owner who told me it doesn't upshift.
Car goes in neutral , park, reverse, and 1st gear (Drive or 1st gear) both work. The only problem is that it doesn't upshift.
I tried looking things online as solutions:
1- Disconnected the kickdown button- no luck
2- TCM maybe? changed that - no luck
3- Conductor...
