No spark slk230 1998

Hi my 1998 SLKI230 (Jap model RH drive for NZ) just started running rough, I cleaned the air filter and MAF.. no luck, checked the K40 its good, checked for spark and No3 is no spark. After short drive to get an e12 socket, now No4 has no spark! Lucky got home on 2 cylinders! Have not yet checked CPS can this cause no spark? Have ordered an OBD2 scanner and the 38 pin adaptor cable but am wondering if anyone can shed some light on the problem. I would really appreciate any help thanks... No spark slk230 1998
