With 450SL when in standstill and I'm flooring it, the wheels spin for a moment, the gearbox kicks back a bit and obviously shifts up, and then it drives off with "normal" acceleration. Is this normal? Shouldn't be leaving rubber on the tarmac for as long as it has torque available?
Not that I would want to do that all the times, but I would just like to know if it's normal behaviour and if not, what to repair or adjust.
