i bought a new bosch o2 sensor - the car has 95,000kms and the exhaust smells a bit rich sometimes. i do drive it aggressively but even so it really likes to drink so i figured it was due for a change! long story short - it turns out there is no o2 sensor 
. i can see the connector on the inside of the transmission tunnel and it looks like someone simply sheared off the cables when they fitted some kind of replacement exhaust system. the system has the exhaust manifold pipes...
