Left blinker causes speedometer to jump also comes on with headlights

Howdy everyone, My 1990 420 has encountered another electrical issue! ( I'm beginning to think I should just redo it all at this point!) So my left blinker has some strange behavior. When I turn on my head lights it always comes on. the indicator on the dash included. Additionally when I turn it on it will cause the speedometer to drop to zero and bounce up and down like a windshield wiper! I replaced the flasher relay hoping for a quick cheap fix - with no luck.
