GPS issues

Hello everyone. New to the forum so I'm not sure if this has been discussed already. I purchased a 18 GLS 450 with water damage from Copart. Getting SOS inoperative prompt and my gps is jumping all over the place. I've done research and was told it may be faulty wiring with the Hermes/mbrace module or antenna connection. I've checked the trunk lid wires but was told that the modules are under the driver seat under the carpet. Anyone familiar with the actual location as I do t want to remove... GPS issues
