This "switch" is on the top of the deck lid inside the trunk (obviously) . I had the deck lid carpet off yesterday looking to solve an issue with my rear dome light. There appear to be no electrical connections to this "switch". The carpet appears that it was factory cut for this "switch". The car was a car for the American market delivered in Germany.
