supplemental air springs for rear coils?

Has anyone installed supplemental air springs that get installed (squeezed) inside the rear coils? Air Lift has some that are 3" in internal diameter, but it appears the inside internal diameter of the coil spring is just shy of 3" (somewhere between 2.8 and 2.9". Air Lift says they need to be 3" internal. I have a 3,500# trailer that I pull all the time (GLK does a great job), but I would like the rear to be more level and not squatting down so much.
