Im trying to figure out how best to diagnose my faulty Parktronic system. I have a 99 CL500
My own OBD 2 reader doesnt work well with basic Mercedes engine parameters and no system specifics.
I was going to buy a 38 pin LED blinker, which is being advertised for OBD1 up to '95. But on all the PDFs im seeing no specific troubleshooting on how to diagnose the PTC. I may buy the OBD 1 blinker tool just to have, but does the 38 pin port still work on later model cars.
