The plastic turbo intake for the om642 is possibly the stupidest design i've ever seen. It should have been made from a single piece of cast aluminum.
Is there a source or an alternative for the accordion boots on each end of the intake? On my newly acquired 08 ML320 CDI, they are deteriorated from a former black death issue. i really have no desire to replace the whole thing since the rest of the plastic tube and MAF's are good.
