Which way to turn emergency brake Star wheel

Right now I am trying to tighten the emergency brake on a 1979 450 SL with an anti-squat rear end. I believe that the anti-squat aluminum control arms have the star in a different place than standard stamped steel control arms. I saw that I had taken notes of which way to go on my 1985 to 80 SE four-speed W1 26. The directions were up and down. I documented that in the thread I have on that car.
